David Cottle's Classes Come With One Guarantee: Joy

Choreography, performance, and pure energy

26 March 2026 · 1 min read

Choreography by David Cottle

Artist: Children of Zeus - Still Standing

Location: The Manor LDN Dance Studio, Finsbury Park, North London

Every class with David Cottle brings pure joy — not the kind of enthusiasm that's easy to fake, but the genuine energy of someone who's spent his career loving what he does, and it shows in every count he teaches. It's a rarer quality than technical skill alone, and it's exactly what defined his latest session at The Manor LDN.

Cottle brought his industry experience directly into the Finsbury Park studio, delivering a focused session in choreography and performance rooted in credits including JUNGLE, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Wicked, Ed Sheeran, Perrie Edwards, BTS, and the Message In A Bottle World Tour — a résumé most choreographers would lead with. Cottle leads with the energy instead, and lets the credits speak for themselves underneath it.

Known for his work across live performance, theatre, and artist development, Cottle has built a strong reputation within the UK and international dance industry — not just for what he's achieved, but for how he brings dancers along with him while he's doing it. For a masterclass built to genuinely energise a room rather than just instruct it, this was proof that joy and precision aren't opposites, they're exactly what makes a class like this one memorable.
