HomeBros began in East London in 2010, growing from a dance duo into one of the UK’s recognised voices in African dance. Their foundations were shaped through years of professional work with Boy Blue, developing their knowledge across Hip Hop styles while becoming known for their commitment to bringing African dance, culture and knowledge to wider audiences.

That work eventually became bigger than the two of them. In 2014, HomeBros created HomeFam — a London-based collective built around the idea of family, bringing together dancers with different skills and personalities while sharing the same principles: “Feeling First” and “Keep It Authentic.” Creativity, musicality and innovation sit at the centre of their practice, with the collective focused on celebrating and spreading modern African dance styles and culture.

Over the years, HomeBros have worked across music, television, fashion and live performance, with credits including Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Rita Ora, Adidas, Nike, the MOBO Awards, BRIT Awards, Red Bull UK and Nando’s. They also created the Afro Dance Championships in 2016, helping build a dedicated platform for the style within the UK dance scene.

In September 2025, HomeBros ft HomeFam became part of DANCE // OFFLINE at Indigo at The O2. The Manor LDN’s first major live showcase brought more than 30 choreographers and performers together, moving dance out of the screen and into a shared live experience. For HomeBros and HomeFam, it was another opportunity to do what they have always done — bring people together through movement.
