Sattva’s movement does not simply occupy space — it transforms it. A Vietnamese, Germany-born choreographer, movement director and Ballroom advisor now based in London, Sattva has developed a distinctive physical language across New Way and Arms Control, turning movement into something that can feel almost geometric, elastic and dreamlike.

Their relationship with Ballroom stretches back nearly 15 years, with Sattva becoming a certified Double Legend in the Kiki scene and an Up & Coming Legend in the Mainstream scene. They are also the first Asian Mother of the Iconic House of Ninja, bringing their knowledge and experience into the next generation through their work as a mentor, educator and founder of THE NEW WAY PROJECT.

That movement language has taken Sattva far beyond Ballroom. Their creative work and collaborations span music, fashion, film and performance, including Coldplay, Megan Thee Stallion, Janelle Monáe, RAYE, Christian Louboutin, Netflix, Sadler’s Wells and Red Bull. In 2025, they also choreographed and served as Ballroom advisor for FKA twigs’ EUSEXUA World Tour.

In September 2025, Sattva brought that distinctive perspective to DANCE // OFFLINE, The Manor LDN’s inaugural major live showcase at Indigo at The O2. The event brought more than 30 choreographers and performers together across two shows, taking dance away from the screen and into a live room.
