Neal Piron: Built Between Styles

From Street Fusion and Jazz Funk to film and international performance, Neal Piron brings his versatility to The Manor LDN.

CHOREOGRAPHY BY NEAL PIRON

ARTIST: NAO - ANTIDOTE

LOCATION: THE MANOR LDN DANCE STUDIO, FINSBURY PARK, NORTH LONDON

Neal Piron’s movement doesn’t sit neatly inside one box. At The Manor LDN, he teaches Street Fusion and Jazz Funk — two styles that reflect the wider range of his training and performance career. Rather than treating those worlds as separate, Neal brings different influences together, creating movement that feels both technically considered and instinctive.

That versatility has carried into his professional work on screen. Neal has appeared as a dancer in films including Polina and Disney’s Aladdin, while his more recent screen credits include Mood and Wicked. Polina placed him within a dance-focused feature directed by Valérie Müller and choreographed by Angelin Preljocaj, while his work on Aladdin and Wicked brought his movement into large-scale film productions.

His work in the studio continues that same sense of versatility. Alongside The Manor LDN, Neal teaches Street Fusion and Jazz Funk, including classes with Shaun Niles at Pineapple Dance Studios. The combination gives dancers a chance to explore different textures, rhythms and performance qualities rather than being confined to one movement vocabulary.

For Nao’s “Antidote” featuring Adekunle Gold, released in 2021, Neal brings those influences together once again. The track blends Nao’s R&B sound with Adekunle Gold’s Afro-fusion presence, creating a musical starting point for Neal’s own choreography and interpretation.
