Manor Academy

Manor Academy – Kids

Their first class starts here.

We're opening the doors to a new generation of dancers at The Manor.

Our new Kids' classes are designed to make dance fun, energetic and accessible from day one — helping young dancers build confidence, co-ordination, musicality and performance skills while learning choreography they will actually want to dance. Led by industry professional Jamie Mason.

Parent/Guardian information

Safeguarding

To ensure the highest safeguarding standards, our dance teachers must remain in the studio to supervise the whole class, and our front-desk reception staff are not permitted to provide personal care or escort children into the toilets. Parents/guardians must remain on site for the duration of the class. Parents/guardians remain fully responsible for their child’s personal care during class time. If your child needs to use the toilet during their lesson, the teacher will safely guide them out to the reception desk so that you can escort them. Please ensure you remain in the waiting area for the duration of the class to assist your child if needed.

Door-to-door handover

To keep our dancers safe, we use a strict "door-to-door" handover policy. Please help us by following these three simple steps:

  1. Drop-off
Please wait with your child in the reception area. Do not send them into the studio until the teacher opens the door and physically welcomes the class inside.
  2. During class
Our studio door is kept propped open slightly for visual safety and safeguarding transparency. Please keep the doorway clear so the teacher can work without distractions.
  3. Collection
At the end of the lesson, dancers will stay inside the studio. The teacher will stand at the doorway and release children one by one only when they see their parent or guardian standing ready in reception.

Photography and videography

Photography and videography may take place during classes for use across The Manor LDN’s marketing and promotional channels, including social media, our website and other marketing materials.

By making payment for the class, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and consent to your child being included in photography and videography for these purposes.

If you would prefer your child not to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of The Manor team before the class.

You may also request for The Manor LDN to stop using your child’s images at any time. Upon receiving your request, we will take reasonable steps to prevent the images from being used in future digital marketing and promotional materials. Please note that images may continue to appear in printed materials or digital publications that have already been produced or are already in circulation.
