For Josh Pilmore, performance is never something to hold back from. A London-based commercial choreographer, teacher and movement director, Josh has built his career around a full-out approach to movement — combining power, character and stage presence with choreography designed to make an impact.

His career has taken him across the commercial dance industry, from working with artists including Rina Sawayama, Bebe Rexha, Ashnikko and Kimberly Wyatt to major stages and events including Coachella, Glastonbury and The Graham Norton Show. His choreography has also appeared in music videos and campaigns, while his work with Rina Sawayama has included both music-video choreography and live performance.

But Josh’s work extends beyond the jobs themselves. He has also built a strong reputation as an educator, teaching across the UK and using his experience to help develop the next generation of commercial dancers. His classes focus on the same qualities that have shaped his professional career: commitment, performance and the ability to fully inhabit the choreography.

That energy came to the stage at DANCE // OFFLINE 2025, The Manor LDN’s first live edition of the showcase at Indigo at The O2 on 28 September. Josh appeared as part of OFFLINE // AFTER DARK, alongside artists and collectives including Boy Blue, Shapehaus, HomeBros, Josh Denyer and House of Jazz.
