DANCE // OFFLINE 2026: Jaron Lammens: Where Street Meets Soul

For Jaron Lammens, movement starts with the music. The Belgian-born dancer, choreographer and movement director has developed a style rooted in old-school Hip Hop and R&B, drawing on popping, robotic movement, grooves and street dance to create choreography that feels both controlled and fluid. His training has taken him across Belgium, Paris, Los Angeles and London, with each place adding another layer to his movement language.

That versatility has allowed Jaron to move between different creative worlds. His performance work includes Just Dance 2019 and Just Dance 2020, while his theatre credits include the 2025 national tour of Tambo & Bones, where he performed as X-Bot 1, bringing his popping and robotic movement into a production built around Hip Hop, performance and storytelling.

Jaron has also continued to explore the relationship between dance, screen and movement direction. His work has expanded into film and commercials, while his choreography remains grounded in the same principles that have shaped his career: groove, musicality and finding something within the music rather than simply moving over it.

For DANCE // OFFLINE 2026, Jaron brought that movement language from the studio to indigo at The O2, joining a lineup that included Boy Blue, Amber Rae, Kelsey ‘Hydro’ Miller, Jamie Mason and Eryn Bates. The event was built around live dance, artistry and connection — giving choreography a space to be experienced in the room rather than through a screen.
