For Ricky Jinks, choreography is about more than creating movement. It is about finding the feeling underneath it. An internationally recognised choreographer, creative director and educator, Ricky has spent more than a decade moving between theatre, music videos, television, fashion, immersive experiences and live touring, developing a creative language rooted in storytelling and authenticity.

His work has taken him into very different creative worlds. Ricky has choreographed and directed movement for artists including Rita Ora, Caity Baser, Matthew Morrison, Pixie Lott, Honey Dijon, Shaznay Lewis and Oti Mabuse, while his wider work includes Adidas, Stella McCartney, the BBC, Tate Britain, New York and London Fashion Week and the UEFA Champions League Final.

That versatility is central to the way Ricky works. As the founder of Company Jinks, he has created work for dance companies as well as commercial and live projects, while continuing to teach internationally. His approach places the artistic side of dance alongside the physicality — treating dancers not simply as athletes, but as artists with something to communicate.

In March 2026, Ricky brought that perspective to DANCE // OFFLINE at Indigo at The O2, joining a lineup that included Boy Blue, Pro-Motion, Amber Rae, David Cottle, Jaron Lammens, Kelsey ‘Hydro’ Miller, Jamie Mason and Eryn Bates. The showcase was built around live movement, artistry and connection — exactly the kind of space where storytelling through dance belongs.
