More Than Choreography: Amber Rae's Full Experience

She doesn't just teach steps. She teaches intention.

Choreography by Amber Rae

Ask anyone who's taken a class with Amber Rae what they actually remember, and it's rarely just the choreography. Known for her bold style and commanding presence, Rae has built credits with heavyweights including Wizkid, Stefflon Don, Lizzo, and Ms Banks — but the thing that keeps dancers coming back to her sessions at The Manor LDN isn't the résumé, it's what happens once she's actually in the room.

Her classes are built to be a full experience rather than a straightforward run-through of steps, pushing dancers to move with real intention, own their space, and tap into something closer to instinct than technique. Part of what makes that possible is the environment Rae creates the moment she walks in — a room where women genuinely support each other rather than compete for space, and where dancehall itself is treated with the artistry and respect it's long deserved, not sidelined as an afterthought to other commercial styles. That kind of atmosphere doesn't happen by accident; it's built, session after session, by someone who clearly cares about the culture as much as the choreography.

That kind of teaching only really works in a room designed to hold it — enough scale and energy to let a class build into something bigger than the choreography itself, which is exactly the environment The Manor LDN's Finsbury Park studio was built to provide. Every time Rae steps into the studio, she leaves a lasting impact — and this session was no exception. It's the reason "we can't wait to have her back" isn't just a closing line; with Amber Rae, it's practically a guarantee.
