Most classes measure success by how clean the choreography looks by the end. Jay Revell's latest session at The Manor LDN measured something harder to see and far more valuable: whether dancers actually believed in what they were performing by the time the class ended. Bringing his expertise in stage performance into the Finsbury Park studio, Revell pushed creativity, precision, and performance in equal measure — but confidence was the thread running underneath all three.

That focus isn't accidental. Revell, co-founder of Black Skull Creative with credits including Christina Aguilera, Little Mix, and RAYE, alongside major international projects like Riot Games and Riyadh Season, has built a career on performance-driven choreography specifically — movement designed to be watched, not just executed correctly. Teaching that requires more than technical correction; it requires convincing a room full of dancers that stage presence isn't something you either have or don't, it's something you build.

By the end of the session, the difference was visible. The same combination that started tentatively was, an hour later, being performed with genuine conviction — proof that Revell's professional studio environment gave dancers exactly the kind of challenge that turns technical ability into something audiences actually feel.
