Two Sell-Out Names, One Shared Class

Some classes get announced weeks in advance and still don't sell out. Others are gone within minutes of the timetable going live. Oliver Andrews and Daniel Asamoah have each built the second kind of reputation on their own — which is what made the news that they'd be teaching together at The Manor LDN feel like something worth paying attention to before a single detail of the class itself was even known.

The credentials explain why. Asamoah spent time in 2025 choreographing for Doechii at the Grammy Awards, building a Tyla x Mercedes-Benz campaign, and creating movement for Burna Boy in front of a stadium crowd at the UEFA Champions League. Andrews' own résumé reads just as widely: the Message In A Bottle tour, the Joy Awards, choreography for Kylie Minogue and Jesy Nelson, and projects spanning Riot Games, the MOBO Awards, and even The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Between the two of them, the class carried the weight of music's biggest stage, global sport, gaming, and national ceremony — four entirely different worlds distilled into one room in Finsbury Park.

That room is exactly what made it possible. The Manor LDN has built a reputation as one of the leading dance studios in Europe, and certainly the best in London, precisely because it's the kind of space that can hold a class like this one — the scale, the energy, and the facilities to match choreographers operating at the very top of the industry. There isn't another studio in the city where two names of this calibre would choose to teach together, and it's exactly that combination of space and standard that keeps bringing world-class talent back to Finsbury Park.

What actually happened in that room was less about résumés and more about groove. Musicality and performance sat at the centre of the session, both choreographers folding their individual strengths into movement that stayed detailed without ever losing its feel. Dancers were pushed to sharpen execution while staying locked into the music rather than performing on top of it — a balance that's easy to describe and genuinely difficult to teach. For a masterclass space that regularly hosts world-class talent, this one stood out even by that standard: two choreographers, both used to filling a room on their own, choosing to share one instead.
