Choreography by Luz Remigio-Frais

Luz Remigio-Frais' pop-up workshop at The Manor LDN Dance Studio was, by every measure, incredible. In London as part of the Victoria Monét Tour, Remigio-Frais used the stopover to bring her signature blend of street styles and commercial dance directly into the Finsbury Park studio, teaching dancers how to genuinely fuse culture with high-energy choreography rather than borrowing the aesthetic without the roots behind it.

That authenticity comes from serious lineage. Remigio-Frais trained under hip-hop legends including Buddha Stretch and Henry Link, grounding her own choreography in a tradition that predates the commercial dance world she now moves through. As a dancer, her own credits include performing alongside Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, and Cardi B — experience that's shaped a teaching style built on both technical grounding and genuine stage-tested performance instinct. Dancers at The Manor LDN left the session having learned choreography built on real cultural foundation, not just a trend passed down secondhand.
