CHOREOGRAPHY BY JARON JOHNSON
ARTIST: BRYSON TILLER - WHATEVER SHE WANTS
LOCATION: THE MANOR LDN DANCE STUDIO, FINSBURY PARK, NORTH LONDON
Jaron Johnson’s career has been built around performance. After graduating from Stella Mann College of Performing Arts in 2013, he quickly established himself within the commercial dance scene, going on to perform with Little Mix during their Salute era and appearing across major live events including the iTunes Festival, Jingle Bell Ball and the US Teen Choice Awards.
His work has taken him across music, television and live entertainment. Alongside Little Mix, Jaron has performed with Kylie Minogue and Fleur East, toured with the X Factor team and appeared as a feature dancer on So You Think You Can Dance, as well as being part of the Britain’s Got Talent Live Tour.
But performance is only one part of Jaron’s creative practice. He has also developed his own work as a choreographer and creative, including through 2 Step Dance Company, while continuing to bring his Hip Hop foundations into the studio. At The Manor LDN, his classes combine choreography with an urban feel and a strong sense of performance, giving dancers space to step into his movement style.
Bryson Tiller’s “Whatever She Wants” gives Jaron another space to do exactly that — taking the track’s R&B and hip-hop energy and translating it into movement of his own.
