The Manor Series: Alex Schoendorf The Dancer Who Kept Evolving

Alex Schoendorf’s career has never followed a straight line. Originally from Germany, she began dancing ballet as a child before discovering Hip Hop as a teenager — a moment that changed the way she understood movement and gave her a space to explore her own energy and personality. From there, her journey took her through competitive dance and crew work before leading her towards the international commercial dance industry.

Her professional career has taken her onto stages and sets alongside artists including Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber. She has also performed in projects including Cinderella and Studio 2054, while continuing to teach choreography internationally. Alex has appeared as an instructor at major dance events across Europe, including UDO’s European and World Championships.

But Alex’s work has increasingly moved beyond performance. Through ALX Method, the mentoring platform she created, she shares the experience she has gained throughout her career with emerging dancers, offering training and guidance designed to help them navigate the industry and understand their own strengths.

For The Manor Series, Alex brought that experience into the studio with choreography set to Waka Flocka Flame’s “Grove St. Party”. The track gives the class space for the energy, attitude and performance quality that sit at the heart of Alex’s commercial choreography.
