Joshua Pilmore has built his career around making movement impossible to ignore. Based in London, the choreographer and educator is known for his distinctive full-out style of Commercial Dance — a combination of power, precision, musicality and performance that has become central to his creative identity. His work spans music videos, world tours, festivals, television and major brand campaigns.

That career has taken Joshua across some of the biggest spaces in the industry. His credits include working with artists such as Rina Sawayama, Bebe Rexha, Ashnikko and Kimberly Wyatt, alongside appearances and choreography connected to Coachella, Glastonbury and The Graham Norton Show. His work has also extended into campaigns for Vogue and Samsung, as well as music videos and live productions.

Teaching is an equally important part of Joshua’s career. He has taught across major UK dance platforms including Move It, Studio 68, Pineapple and Runway House, while continuing to develop his own approach to commercial choreography. At The Manor LDN, that translates into classes built around commitment, performance and understanding how movement needs to read beyond the studio.

For Beyoncé’s “Video Phone”, Joshua brings that same performance-first approach into the room. The choreography gives dancers space to work with the attitude, musicality and energy of the track while experiencing Joshua’s unmistakably full-out movement style.
