Jaron Lammens: Where Street Meets Soul

For Jaron Lammens, movement starts with the music. The Belgian-born dancer, choreographer and movement director has built his style around old-school Hip Hop and R&B, drawing on popping, robotic movement, grooves and street dance to create choreography that feels smooth without losing its foundations. His training has taken him across Belgium, Paris, Los Angeles and London, with each place adding another layer to his movement language.

That versatility has allowed Jaron to move comfortably between different creative worlds. He has worked as a dancer on Just Dance 2019 and Just Dance 2020, while his performance career has also extended into film and theatre. In 2025, he appeared as X-Bot 1 in the national tour of Tambo & Bones, bringing his popping and robotic movement into a production where Hip Hop sits at the centre of the storytelling.

More recently, Jaron has continued to explore the relationship between dance, performance and screen. He appears in the 2026 film The Last Sunrise, while his wider work continues to move between commercial dance, choreography and movement direction. He was also part of The Manor's DANCE // OFFLINE lineup at indigo at The O2 in March 2026 — a natural meeting point for an artist whose work sits between street culture, performance and choreography.

At The Manor LDN, Jaron brings that musicality into the studio with Maxwell's “Sumthin' Sumthin'”. The choreography gives dancers space to find the groove, texture and soul within the track while stepping into Jaron's distinctive movement language — rooted in Hip Hop, shaped by R&B and driven by the music.
