Drew Shuttleworth: More Than One Way to Move

For Drew Shuttleworth, versatility has never meant choosing one style over another. Originally from a small town outside Manchester, Drew grew up competing in dance and representing the UK on international stages before building a professional career across performance, choreography and teaching. Their training has moved between theatre, jazz, commercial and Hip Hop, creating a movement language where different influences can exist side by side.

That breadth has taken Drew into a wide range of performance worlds. Their credits include the MTV EMAs with LE SSERAFIM, the HUM Awards at Wembley Arena, Royal Caribbean productions and Disney Tokyo, alongside commercial campaigns for brands including McDonald’s and Funkin Cocktails. They have also toured with Kimberly Wyatt and performed with international drag artist Tayce, building experience across live entertainment, commercial work and large-scale production.

Alongside performing, choreography and creative direction have become an increasingly important part of Drew’s work. They are part of Dean Lee’s Shape Haus, contributing to the creative and workshop process for Janet Jackson’s world tour and Las Vegas residency, while also teaching regularly at The Manor LDN. Their approach is grounded in character and artistry — using different styles as tools rather than boundaries.

At The Manor LDN, Drew brings that perspective into the studio with Tyla’s “Kiss”. The choreography gives dancers the opportunity to work with their distinctive blend of musicality, character and style, while exploring the kind of versatility that has shaped Drew’s career from the beginning.
