Hamilton Evans: A Career in Constant Motion

From a small town in the UK to Los Angeles, Hamilton Evans has built an international career through choreography, teaching and performance.

Hamilton Evans' career began far from the bright lights of Los Angeles. Born and raised in a small town in the UK, he trained at one of London's leading professional dance colleges before beginning his teaching career at Pineapple Dance Studios and Studio 68. It was in those early years of teaching that his choreography began to make an impact, opening doors into a much bigger creative career.

His early choreography credits included the London Olympics Gymnastics Opening Ceremony, the Attitude Magazine Awards and a Discovery Channel commercial, alongside work with leading European artists. He also became Creative Director for L'Oréal Paris' “London” campaign. These projects established a career that could move comfortably between commercial dance, live entertainment, fashion and choreography.

In 2014, Hamilton made a major move of his own, relocating to Los Angeles to push his career further. Since then, he has become a regular teacher at Millennium Dance Complex and The Edge Performing Arts Center, while teaching workshops and conventions across countries including France, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Japan and Singapore. His choreography credits have continued to grow, including America's Got Talent: The Champions, The Masked Singer, Ryan Seacrest's Rockin' New Year's Eve and Don Omar's World Tour.

At The Manor LDN, Hamilton brings that experience into the studio with Tinashe's “Too Easy”. The choreography gives dancers the chance to work with the musicality, performance and precision that have become central to his teaching, while experiencing the movement language of a choreographer whose career has taken him from a small town in Britain to dance studios around the world.
