There is an instinctive quality to Israel The Don’s approach to movement. Rather than treating choreography as simply a sequence of steps, his work places emphasis on how dancers connect with the music — finding the rhythm, the attitude and the moments that give movement its character. It is an approach that makes performance feel just as important as precision.

That connection to the music is at the centre of Israel’s work as a choreographer and teacher. His classes create space for dancers to explore musicality and individuality, while still challenging them to stay inside the detail of the choreography. It is less about making every dancer look identical and more about understanding what makes the movement work in the first place.

That creative approach has already brought Israel to The Manor LDN, where he hosted a dedicated choreography pop-up in July 2026. The session gave London dancers the opportunity to work directly with Israel and experience his approach in the studio.

Now, Israel brings that same energy back into the room with Lekan’s “Come Thru”. The choreography gives dancers space to work with the track’s rhythm and attitude while stepping into Israel The Don’s distinctive movement language — a combination of musicality, performance and individuality.
