From Sydney to the UK, Sab McCarthy has built a career on versatility, ambition and trusting her own path through dance.

For Sab McCarthy, dance became a career long before she ever had a traditional roadmap for one. Growing up in Australia, she trained across ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary before moving towards Hip Hop as a teenager. By 13, she was already teaching, while travelling internationally to train and immersing herself in the wider dance world. Those early experiences gave her a broad foundation — and an understanding that there was more than one way to build a life in dance.

Originally from Sydney and later relocating to the UK in 2022, Sab has since built an international career across performance, choreography and teaching. Her performance credits include working with 50 Cent, Bree Runway and Ashnikko, while in 2025 she performed as a lead dancer with Christina Aguilera at the Joy Awards. She has also worked on Candy Crush x Thundercat: Upside Down, described as the world's first playable live-action music video.

But teaching has remained at the centre of Sab's career. She has taught and judged internationally, including World of Dance events in Italy, Croatia and London, while continuing to develop her own creative voice through choreography. Her approach is rooted in versatility and authenticity — something she has spoken about as a key part of finding her place within the industry.

At The Manor LDN, Sab brings that perspective into the studio with KWN's “Till The Room Stinks”. The choreography gives dancers space to work with her distinctive musicality, performance quality and energy, while experiencing the movement language of an artist who has spent years building her own path through dance.
