CHOREOGRAPHY BY NATALIE BEBKO
ARTIST: TENN - REAL
LOCATION: THE MANOR LDN DANCE STUDIO, FINSBURY PARK, NORTH LONDON
For Natalie Bebko, dance started in Detroit long before the world’s biggest stages were on the horizon. She began dancing from a young age and eventually joined the Detroit Pistons Entertainment Team in 2013, while also competing with her crew Next Level and becoming affiliated with the renowned immaBEAST collective. Those early experiences built the technical foundation and performance instinct that would take her from Detroit to Los Angeles and into the professional dance world.
Since then, Natalie’s career has moved quickly. She has performed alongside artists including Rihanna, Victoria Monét, Kehlani and Tate McRae, while her work has extended into fashion and major global campaigns for Nike, Vogue and Savage X Fenty. One of her most significant recent credits came on Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show — a performance seen by an enormous global audience and another marker in an already expansive career.
But Natalie is not only building a career as a performer. Her work as a choreographer and teacher has become an equally important part of her creative identity. She has been recognised for her choreography since early in her career, including assisting with the 2016 BET Award nominations and headlining World of Dance LA, while her teaching has taken her to dance spaces and intensives around the world.
At The Manor LDN, Natalie brings that experience to TENN’s “REAL”. The choreography is dynamic, detailed and performance-driven, giving dancers a chance to work inside the movement language of an artist who understands both sides of the room — the person executing the choreography and the person creating it.
Watch Natalie Bebko’s “REAL” choreography below and experience her movement language at The Manor LDN.
