From the Netherlands to international dance spaces, Renzo Pepers brings rhythm, control and expressive movement to The Manor LDN.

For Renzo Pepers, movement is about finding the space between control and freedom. The Dutch dancer and choreographer has developed a distinctive approach rooted in hip-hop, Afro and street dance, bringing together sharp musicality, physicality and expressive performance. Based in the Netherlands, his work has taken him into performance, choreography and teaching across Europe.

Renzo’s movement language is shaped by versatility. Rather than sitting neatly inside one style, his work draws from different street and urban influences, allowing rhythm and musicality to guide the way the body moves. That versatility can be seen across his performance work too, including his appearance as a dancer in Weval’s “Open Up That Door” alongside an international cast of movement artists.

Teaching is an important part of that creative practice. Renzo teaches Urban Open Style in the Netherlands, while his work as an educator and visiting teacher continues to take his approach beyond his home country. His classes are built around developing individuality, musicality and an understanding of how different movement qualities can exist together.

At The Manor LDN, Renzo brings that movement language to Wizkid’s “Fever”. The choreography plays with rhythm, groove and texture, giving dancers space to connect with the music while exploring Renzo’s fusion of street and Afro influences.
