Devante Latorre has built his career on knowing how to command a stage — now he brings that instinct into the studio at The Manor LDN.

For Devante Latorre, performance is more than executing choreography. Born on the Gold Coast in Australia, Devante began training from a young age before developing a career across film, television, live performance and commercial dance. That range has given him an understanding of what it takes to make movement work in very different environments — from a camera to a television stage to a live audience.

His career has already taken him into some major moments. Devante performed alongside Katy Perry at the AFL Grand Final, appeared at World Pride with Jessica Mauboy and Courtney Act, and has worked on projects with Kylie Minogue, Meghan Trainor, Adam Lambert, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Tones and I. His screen credits include Elvis, Seriously Red and multiple seasons of The Masked Singer, while commercial work has included campaigns for Coca-Cola and Pepsi.

That breadth is reflected in his teaching. Devante has built a reputation for precision, raw musicality and a style that puts performance at the centre, with classes at studios including Movement Lifestyle in Los Angeles, Sydney Dance Company and The Dream Dance Company. At The Manor LDN, his classes have repeatedly sold out, bringing that international experience directly into the studio.

For Doja Cat’s “Jealous Type”, Devante brings that same performance instinct into the room. The choreography gives dancers space to work with musicality, texture, attitude and intention — turning the movement into something that needs to be performed, not simply remembered.
