We recently had the incredible pleasure of welcoming James Vu Anh Pham to The Manor LDN for an unforgettable masterclass. A powerhouse in contemporary dance, James brought a unique blend of artistry and experience, having worked with legends like FKA Twigs, Madonna, and esteemed choreographers Damien Jalet, Akram Khan, and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
The session began with a comprehensive warm-up that guided dancers through sequences of stretching, strength, and fluid movement. James introduced floorwork, isolations, musicality, and body awareness—laying the foundation for a challenging and expressive choreography that blended elements of both concert and commercial dance styles.
