There are some tracks that seem almost built for the dance floor. Ida Corr and Fedde Le Grand’s “Let Me Think About It” is one of them — a dance classic that has stayed instantly recognisable since its breakthrough in the late 2000s. For Alex Komulainen, the track becomes the foundation for a choreography that brings his distinctive performance quality and dynamic movement to the studio at The Manor LDN.
Born and raised in Finland, Komulainen has built an international career as a dancer and choreographer, teaching across Europe, South Africa, Russia, Mexico and the United States. He is also a regular faculty member at Millennium Dance Complex and T.Milly TV in Los Angeles, while his professional credits include work connected to artists including The Weeknd, David Guetta, Coi Leray and Anne-Marie. His performance career has taken him onto major stages too, including Coachella with J Balvin, alongside appearances across some of Scandinavia’s biggest television and live platforms.
That international experience comes through in Alex’s approach to choreography: performance-led, detailed and designed to make the music physically visible. At The Manor LDN in Finsbury Park, North London, his take on “Let Me Think About It” turns the iconic dance track into a full studio performance, bringing together musicality, energy and Alex’s unmistakable movement quality.
