An Icon of UK Hip Hop Steps Into The Manor LDN
The founder of Boy Blue brings decades of storytelling to Finsbury Park | The Manor LDN

Choreography by Kenrick H2O Sandy
The Manor LDN was excited to host Kenrick H2O Sandy for a powerful dance masterclass, bringing one of the UK's most influential choreographers directly into the London dance community. As the founder of Boy Blue, the internationally respected dance company built on hip hop, theatre, and live performance, Sandy has spent his career shaping how the UK sees hip hop as a genuine art form — not just a style, but a language for storytelling.
That reputation was immediately clear in the room. His masterclass offered dancers a rare opportunity to train in both performance and storytelling in the same session, focused on hip hop choreography, musicality, and character-driven movement. Rather than treating technique and narrative as separate skills, Sandy pushed dancers to connect intention directly to performance — combining technical training with genuine creative exploration, exactly the approach Boy Blue has built its international reputation on.
Held in a studio built to give exactly this calibre of choreographer the space and environment to teach at their best, the class brought together dancers from across London looking to sharpen their skills somewhere genuinely professional. It was a standout session — the kind that reinforces why learning directly from leading voices in the industry remains one of the most valuable things a dancer can do, and why London's dance scene keeps finding new ways to grow around them.
