In September 2025, The Manor LDN took a major step beyond the studio, bringing its first live production, DANCE // OFFLINE, to indigo at The O2. The showcase brought together hundreds of dancers, over 30 choreographers and creatives from across the UK and internationally, celebrating the breadth of talent within London's dance community.

Following the event, MOVES Magazine covered the production, exploring the performances, the people behind them and the community that brought the show to life.

Describing the showcase, MOVES Magazine wrote that DANCE // OFFLINE “showcased raw talent and a vibrant community”.

A platform for London's dance community

Featuring two parts, DANCE // EMERGE and DANCE // AFTER DARK, the production brought together an expansive range of styles, voices and creative perspectives. From emerging artists to established choreographers, the programme reflected the diversity of London's dance scene and the talent developing within it.

The review highlighted the standard of the performances, with Christie Lee Manning, founder of House of Jazz, describing the experience:

“It’s an incredibly high standard of dancing in one place, on one night, under one roof. You can’t find it anywhere else.”

For Manor, the production was about more than putting on a show. It was an opportunity to give dancers a platform, bring creatives together and create performance opportunities in an industry where they can be difficult to find.

As MOVES Magazine noted, The Manor has become “an integral pillar — not only for training, but for creating performance opportunities in a city where they are so scarce”.

Beyond the studio

The feature also captured the sense of community that carried from Manor's studios to the stage at indigo at The O2. Reflecting on the evening, the publication described the spirit of the dance community as something that “flooded the space”.

During a panel discussion with Sisco Gomez and Gil Duldulao, Gil shared his thoughts on the people behind Manor, saying:

“I love the fact that everyone (at The Manor) is so passionate and hungry.”

That passion sits at the heart of DANCE // OFFLINE: creating opportunities for dancers to perform, for choreographers to share their work and for audiences to experience dance beyond the classroom.

A first production, and the beginning of more

DANCE // OFFLINE marked an important milestone for The Manor LDN, taking the energy of the studio into a major live performance venue and bringing together an ambitious programme of work.

In its review, MOVES Magazine recognised the scale of that ambition, writing that DANCE // OFFLINE “proved The Manor has the vision and organisation to deliver on a stage at the O2”.

We're proud to see the work of our dancers, choreographers and creative community recognised, and grateful to MOVES Magazine for documenting this milestone in The Manor LDN's journey.
