Inside The Manor LDN: Mirch Haus Brings South Asian Dance and Community Together

What happens when a dance event becomes more than a performance? For Mirch Haus, it means creating a space where culture, movement and community come together on and off the dance floor.

In August 2026, DominAsian Magazine explored this idea in its review of Community Isn’t a Buzzword at Mirch Haus. It’s a Dance Floor., covering an interactive dance performance event by Divya Nebel, hosted at The Manor LDN in London.

The feature captures an evening that brought together South Asian performance, contemporary choreography and audience participation, transforming a room full of strangers into a shared experience.

More Than a Performance Space

One of the key themes of DominAsian's review was the sense of connection created throughout the evening. The publication highlighted the encouragement between performers, the audience's involvement and the way people who arrived as strangers found common ground through dance.

It's a reminder of the different ways a space can be used: not only to watch performances, but to bring people together, share culture and create something collectively.

At The Manor LDN, our studios provide a home for a wide range of creative projects, from dance classes and rehearsals to workshops, showcases and live experiences. Events such as Mirch Haus demonstrate how dance spaces can become meeting points for different communities, disciplines and ideas.
