Zaniah Fae: From New Zealand to London’s Dance Scene

Finding Her Own Creative Voice

Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, Zaniah moved to London to pursue new opportunities in dance. Since then, she has built a career spanning performance, choreography and teaching, with credits including Pepsi, Adidas, Avatar 2 and The Voice.

Her choreographic style draws inspiration from the spectacle of pop performance, combining precision, character and powerful ensemble movement. Artists such as Beyoncé, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga have influenced her approach, particularly the ability to create performances that are as visually striking as they are musically driven.

Her work extends beyond commercial choreography. Through projects such as Rockstar, created for DANCE // OFFLINE, and Demons, a dance visual inspired by Jordan Peele’s Us, Zaniah explores different ways of using movement to create atmosphere, tell stories and leave a lasting impression.

Bringing Her Perspective to The Manor

As part of The Manor LDN faculty, Zaniah brings her experience and creative perspective into the studio, helping dancers develop their performance quality, precision and individuality.

Her journey reflects the international nature of London's dance scene, where artists bring different influences and experiences together to shape the next generation of movement.
