Melissa Barlow has built a movement language around power, precision and unapologetic femininity — now bringing it to The Manor LDN.

For Melissa Barlow, confidence isn't something that sits on top of the choreography — it is part of the choreography itself. With a background spanning ballet, jazz, contemporary and commercial dance, she has developed a style that brings technical precision together with power, femininity and performance. The result is movement that demands commitment from the dancer performing it.

Her career as a performer has taken her onto stages alongside artists including Ciara, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie and Normani. Those experiences have shaped the way she approaches movement in her own work, where performance quality is never separated from technique. For Melissa, the choreography has to be felt as much as it has to be executed.

That philosophy has become particularly visible through BaddieLanguage, the heels class and creative platform Melissa created to encourage dancers to embrace confidence, artistry and their own individuality. Her work continues to push beyond conventional ideas of what heels choreography can be, incorporating tricks, flexibility, floorwork and demanding technical elements without losing its sense of performance.

At The Manor LDN, Melissa brings that same approach to Drake and The Weeknd's “Crew Love”. The choreography gives dancers space to work with the track's attitude and musicality while stepping into Melissa's signature world — where precision matters, but confidence is what makes the movement land.
