The Choreographer Who Moved Wicked and Aladdin

Chanelle Anthony's heels class, live at The Manor LDN

Choreography by Chanelle Anthony

Professional dancer, choreographer, and heels instructor Chanelle Anthony brought an empowering class to The Manor LDN, built entirely around confidence, musicality, and performance. Her career spans commercial dance, television, film, and theatre in a way few résumés genuinely manage — credits include Netflix's Dance 100, the Wicked motion picture, Ghost: The Musical, Disney's Aladdin, The BRIT Awards, and the BAFTAs, spanning stage, screen, and some of the biggest live broadcasts in entertainment.

Alongside performing, Anthony has made her own mark as a choreographer and movement director, including movement direction for Ayra Starr and Wizkid's "Gimme Dat," and choreography work across the wider industry. It's exactly the kind of dual perspective — performer and creative director — that a room like The Manor LDN's Finsbury Park studio was built to host, giving choreographers of Anthony's range the scale and facilities to teach at the same standard they perform to.

That standard was unmistakable in the room. The class pushed dancers toward genuine confidence and musicality rather than choreography for its own sake, giving them a session that reflected exactly why Anthony's name carries weight across film, stage, and screen alike — and exactly why The Manor LDN continues to hold its place as one of Europe's leading dance studios, and the standard-bearer for London.
