Amber Rae has built a career around making space for movement that feels powerful, expressive and unmistakably her own. A choreographer and performer with roots in Dancehall, Amber has worked with artists including Wizkid, Stefflon Don, Lizzo, Ms Banks, Sean Paul and Vybz Kartel, bringing Dancehall into commercial performance, live shows and the studio.
But her work extends beyond the credits. Amber is the founder of Empress LDN, a platform and collective created to champion women in dance and give Dancehall greater visibility and respect within the wider industry. The collective has performed at events including the MOBO Awards, while Amber's teaching brings together Dancehall, Heels, confidence and performance — encouraging dancers to move with intention and own their space.
That philosophy has become a defining part of Amber's work at The Manor LDN. Her classes are not simply about learning choreography; they are about understanding the energy behind the movement. Grounded, powerful Dancehall vocabulary meets the performance qualities of Heels, creating a style that asks dancers to bring their full personality into the room.
For DANCE // OFFLINE 2026, Amber took that energy from the studio to the stage at indigo at The O2, joining a lineup of artists and choreographers representing different sides of London's dance community. Her choreography became part of a night built around live movement, expression and connection — dance experienced in the room rather than through a screen.
