Strictly come dancing production team in Studio 1 of The Manor LDN dance studio in Finsbury Park

STRICTLY COME DANCING x THE MANOR LDN

Behind one of Britain’s biggest TV shows.

From The Manor LDN to the Strictly Dance Floor

For more than 20 years, Strictly Come Dancing has been one of the biggest and most recognisable shows on British television, bringing dance into millions of homes every weekend. Behind the spectacular costumes, live performances and glittering ballroom is an intensive rehearsal process — and in 2025, The Manor LDN became part of that story as we welcomed JB Gill, Amy Dowden and Lauren May Oakley for rehearsals during their Strictly journey.

Having the Strictly team at The Manor wasn’t just about rehearsals. Our studios also became the setting for behind-the-scenes content, giving viewers a glimpse into the work, personalities and preparation that happens away from the main show. It was a great opportunity to see The Manor used as part of the wider Strictly production, bringing together some of the talent and creative work behind one of television’s biggest dance shows.

For The Manor Space, it’s another chapter in the studio’s connection with the wider creative industry. From television and live performance to music, choreography and commercial productions, our studios are used by dancers, artists, choreographers and creative teams working across the industry.

There’s something particularly special about knowing that, in 2025, The Manor LDN played a part in the preparation behind one of Britain’s biggest television shows. And while the glitz and glamour may have happened elsewhere at the Strictly studios, behind the scenes some of the Strictly story was happening right here in at The Manor LDN, North London.
