Sisco Gomez Can We Talk Talk show at The Manor LDN in Finsbury Park

Where dancers, ideas and conversations came together.

SISCO GOMEZ: CAN WE TALK?!

The Manor LDN became the setting for the debut of Sisco Gomez’s Can We Talk?! — a new talk show bringing dancers and the wider creative community together for an evening of performances, interviews, panel discussions and, most importantly, honest conversation.

Hosted by Sisco, the evening went beyond the usual format of a dance event. Performances sat alongside discussions that explored some of the bigger questions and challenges facing the dance industry, creating space for different voices, experiences and perspectives to be heard.

The result was an insightful and engaging night, with Sisco bringing his experience, personality and natural ability as a host to the room. It felt less like a traditional stage show and more like a gathering of the creative community — people coming together to watch, listen, question and share ideas.

Importantly, Can We Talk?! was designed to live beyond the room. Alongside the live audience, the entire show was filmed at The Manor to become a talk show piece for Sisco’s YouTube channel, turning the event into content that could reach an audience far beyond those in the studio that evening.

For The Manor Space, it’s a great example of how a studio can become more than somewhere to rehearse or perform. The same space can hold a live audience, host conversations and performances, and provide the backdrop for filmed content — allowing an idea to exist both in the room and on screen.

And perhaps that’s what made Can We Talk?! particularly fitting for The Manor: it brought the dance and creative community together in one space, while creating a platform for the conversations happening within it to continue long after the evening ended.
