CHOREOGRAPHY BY SAM PARRY

ARTIST: DAVID KUSHNER - SKIN AND BONES

LOCATION: THE MANOR LDN DANCE STUDIO, FINSBURY PARK, NORTH LONDON

Sam Parry’s work sits somewhere between performance and expression. A dancer, choreographer and teacher, he has spent years developing a movement style that allows contemporary influence to sit alongside commercial experience. At The Manor LDN, he teaches Contemporary Fusion — a space where musicality, texture and individuality can become just as important as the movement itself.

His professional career has taken him well beyond the studio. Sam has performed on Rita Ora’s live tour and alongside her for BBC Sport Relief’s The Greatest Dancer, while also appearing in music videos and screen projects. Alongside performing, he has built an international teaching career, taking his classes to studios across more than 10 countries.

That combination of performance and teaching has become an important part of Sam’s creative identity. Rather than separating technique from feeling, his Contemporary Fusion approach gives dancers room to connect with the music and find their own interpretation. It is a style that allows movement to feel less like something being executed and more like something being experienced.

For David Kushner’s “Skin and Bones”, Sam brings that instinct into the studio. Released in January 2024, the track explores the tension between desire and redemption, creating an atmospheric starting point for choreography that leans into musicality, emotion and physical expression.
