DANCE // OFFLINE 2026: Josh Denyer: From Australia to the West End

Josh Denyer’s career began on the other side of the world, performing in Billy Elliot the Musical in Australia before making the move to London and continuing his training at Laine Theatre Arts. From there, his career has taken him through some of the UK’s biggest theatre productions and onto international stages, building a reputation across performance, teaching and choreography.

On the West End, Denyer performed as Neleus in Mary Poppins and as Mush in the original UK production of Disney’s Newsies. His performance career has also extended beyond theatre, with credits including work for Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland and Jason Derulo, alongside appearances connected to film, television and major live events.

That experience across different forms of performance now feeds into Denyer’s work as a choreographer and teacher. At The Manor LDN, he teaches Advanced Contemporary, bringing the storytelling, physicality and performance awareness developed throughout his career into the studio.

In March 2026, Denyer brought that perspective to the stage at DANCE // OFFLINE at Indigo at The O2, appearing alongside artists including Boy Blue, Kelsey ‘Hydro’ Miller, David Cottle, Ricky Jinks, Amber Rae, Jamie Mason and Hannah Arbury. The showcase gave his choreography a live setting — taking movement out of the studio and back into the room with an audience.
