Orla Barker

Orla Barker is a choreographer and creative director specialising in the commercial style. Her choreography focuses on musicality, dynamics and performance encouraging dancers to express themselves authentically.

Orla has experience across the industry as a performer, dancer and creative after training professionally in a large variety of dance styles and theatre. Since graduating, Orla has worked as a choreographer all over the UK and internationally teaching workshops in locations such as Slovakia, Orlando, Switzerland and Cyprus. She also often works with artists creating choreography for live performances and videos. She is passionate about creating choreography and sharing her work.

Orla believes that a dancers strength is their uniqueness and encourages dancers to implement their own flare into her choreography. Her aim is to remove the pressure, judgement and expectations so dancers can let go and have fun within the movement.

Orla’s goal is that dancers will leave her class feeling uplifted, challenged and confident.
