CHOREOGRAPHY BY BRINA BRECELJ

ARTIST: TGT - LESSONS IN LOVE

LOCATION: THE MANOR LDN DANCE STUDIO, FINSBURY PARK, NORTH LONDON

Brina Brecelj’s dance journey began in Slovenia, where she developed her foundations through competitive dance before building a professional career as a dancer and choreographer. Her work has continued to evolve across styles, but the focus has remained the same: strong foundations, musicality and finding the confidence to fully commit to movement.

That philosophy carries into the way Brina teaches. At The Manor LDN, she works across Heels and Heels Choreography, combining different styles within her routines while keeping technique at the centre. For Brina, heels are not simply about learning choreography — they are about understanding how to move with control, confidence and intention, while bringing out what makes each dancer individual.

Brina also co-runs IN MOVEMENT, a training platform built around structured training, strong foundations and creating a supportive environment where dancers can step outside their comfort zone and grow. It is an approach that reflects the same balance she brings into the studio: challenge the dancer, but give them the tools to rise to it.

For this choreography, Brina turns to TGT’s “Lessons in Love”, taken from the R&B trio’s 2013 album Three Kings. The track brings together Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese over a sensual R&B groove — the perfect space for Brina’s combination of musicality, heels technique and performance.

At The Manor LDN, Brina’s choreography is ultimately about more than getting through the steps. It is about owning them.
