Choreography by Sammi Lee-Jayne
Two years on tour with Dua Lipa is the kind of credit that changes how a choreographer teaches. Sammi Lee-Jayne spent that stretch as Dance Captain on the Radical Optimism World Tour, a role that meant literally standing in as Dua Lipa during rehearsals — not covering the choreography, but holding her exact performance in her own body until the artist arrived to run it herself. It's a job reserved for someone the entire creative team trusts completely, and that same trust and precision was exactly what she brought into The Manor LDN.
A London-based choreographer and movement director, Lee-Jayne built her name as one of the UK's most in-demand commercial dancers before naturally transitioning into choreography — training at The Urdang Academy, then cutting her teeth in Thriller Live and a lead role in Zoonation's "Some Like It Hip Hop." As a performer, she's since worked with a genuinely staggering list of global artists, including Dua Lipa, Rihanna, Little Mix, Zara Larsson, Rosalía, French Montana, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, and The Black Eyed Peas. Alongside that, she's assisted on major tours and productions including Dua Lipa's Radical Optimism Tour under Charm La'Donna, the "Illusion" music video, and Anne-Marie's Unhealthy Club Tour alongside Claudimar Neto.
Her choreography blends power, precision, and femininity, rooted in musicality, storytelling, and a strong sense of identity — and translating that onto The Manor LDN's Finsbury Park floor meant dancers got direct access to a standard tested on some of the biggest stages in music. It's exactly this level of talent that keeps proving why The Manor LDN stands as London's leading dance studio: full sprung flooring, professional lighting, and a sound system built to carry a session with this much precision cleanly through the room, giving a choreographer of Lee-Jayne's calibre the space to actually deliver at full capacity.
